General terms of sale

Preamble: these general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) apply to all product sales made via the Packelites website for delivery in metropolitan USA and internationally. They are accessible at all times on our site and will prevail, where applicable, over any other version or any contradictory document.

Article 1. General Provisions: the present general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern the sales of products by AirBag Travel to individual and professional customers. These conditions apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, and notably those applicable to in-store sales or through other distribution and marketing channels.

Article 2. Clause on product representation

The photographs and illustrations of the products presented on the site are provided for indicative purposes and are not contractual. We strive to represent the products as accurately as possible. However, due to various factors such as lighting, screen display settings, or improvements made to the product, minor variations may exist between the images and the final product delivered.

These differences cannot in any case be considered as defects or non-conformities and will not give rise to a refund or exchange, except in cases where the received product shows a substantial non-conformity with the essential characteristics indicated in the description.

Article 3. Orders:  You can place an order on our website.The order process includes several steps. Once you have selected your products and validated your cart, you will need to:

  • Confirm the selection of chosen products,
  • Validate the delivery and billing address,
  • Make the payment under the specified conditions,
  • Confirm all the information, acknowledge receipt, and accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The confirmation of the order implies acceptance of these sales conditions, acknowledgment of full awareness of them, and the waiver of any claim to one's own purchasing conditions or other conditions. All provided data and the recorded confirmation will serve as proof of the transaction.

Article 4. Pricing: the products are provided at the rates in effect as listed on the website at the time the order is recorded by the seller.Prices are stated in euros, excluding and including taxes. The prices take into account any discounts that may be granted by the seller on the site. These rates are firm and non-revisable during their validity period, but the seller reserves the right, outside the validity period, to modify the prices at any time.

Article 5. Payment Conditions: Payment is due immediately on the order date, including for pre-order products. You can make the payment by credit card or any other method offered by the site. Secure online payment by credit card is processed by our payment service providers. The transmitted information is encrypted according to best practices and cannot be read during transmission over the network.

Article 6.Delivery: the products are delivered to the delivery address indicated at the time of the order and within the specified timeframes. These timeframes do not include the order preparation time. In case of a shipping delay, an email will be sent to you to inform you of any potential impact on the delivery time that was indicated to you. In accordance with legal provisions, in the event of a delivery delay, you have the option to cancel the order under the conditions and procedures defined in Article L 138-2 of the Consumer Code.

Article 7. Cancellation, Return, and Refund Policy: Any order placed on our website is considered final and binding on the buyer. However, under certain conditions, a cancellation or return may be processed, subject to the following provisions:

1.Cancellation after shipment and return of products
If the order has already been shipped, the customer can exercise their right of withdrawal within 60 days from the receipt of the product.

The products must be returned in their original condition, unused and in their original packaging.
The return shipping costs are entirely at the customer's expense.
A deduction of 10 % of the total order amount will be applied to the refund to cover the costs of restocking, handling, and to cover the various fees related to the refund.

Our customers have a 60-day period from the receipt of their order to request a return or exchange. The 60-day period offered by the company is a commercial advantage that applies only to a first return or exchange. Any additional return or exchange will not be accepted.


In accordance with our policy, each product can only be subject to one return or exchange procedure. Once the first return or exchange is completed, no second return or exchange will be accepted for the same product or order.

2. Refund Procedures

The refund will be processed within 10 to 15 days after receipt and validation of the returned product.
The refund will be processed through the same payment method used for the purchase.

3. Exceptions to Refund

No refund will be issued for products:

Used, damaged, or returned incomplete.
Outside the withdrawal period.
Not complying with the return conditions mentioned above.

3.1. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of Articles L221-18 and following of the Consumer Code, the consumer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the receipt of the order.

However, in the context of an amicable agreement, a partial refund may be offered to the customer as a commercial gesture, in resolution of a dispute or dissatisfaction.

In the event of express acceptance of this partial refund by the customer, the customer acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal, the agreement constituting a definitive solution accepted by both parties. The transaction is then considered settled, and no further return, additional refund, or exchange can be demanded thereafter.

It is the customer's responsibility to check and validate this agreement before any acceptance.

Article 8. Product Warranty: in accordance with the law, the products supplied by the seller benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. These warranties allow the customer to return delivered products that are defective or non-compliant.

Article 9.Right of withdrawal: in accordance with current legislation, consumers have a period of 60 days from the receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal with the seller, without having to pay any penalty.

Article 10. Force majeure: the liability of Packelites cannot be enforced if the non-performance or delay in the performance of any of its obligations described in these general terms and conditions of sale results from a case of force majeure. In this regard, force majeure includes any external, unforeseeable, and irresistible event as defined by article 1148 of the Civil Code.

Article 11.Protection of personal data: in accordance with the amended Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the rights to query, access, modify, object, and rectify your personal data. By agreeing to these general terms of sale, you consent to us collecting and using this data for the execution of this contract.

Article 12. Applicable law in case of disputes: The language of this contract is English. These sales conditions are subject to english law. In case of a dispute, English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 13. Liability clause in case of confirmed delivery

1. Delivery Confirmation

A order is considered delivered and finalized as soon as the carrier indicates the package as "delivered" and/or provides proof of delivery (e.g., tracking with status "delivered", photo of the dropped off package, recipient's signature, etc.).

2. Responsibility after Delivery

Once the delivery is confirmed by the carrier, the seller's responsibility ends. The customer becomes solely responsible for the package, its condition, and its retrieval.

3. Loss or theft after delivery

In case of a package declared delivered but not found, the customer must:

Check with their surroundings (neighbors, concierge, family, etc.).

Contact the carrier to obtain more information.

In case of suspected theft, file a complaint with the relevant authorities and request an official certificate of loss/theft from the carrier.

4. Claims and remedies

Any claim related to a delivered but unfound package must be accompanied by a certificate of theft or loss issued by the carrier.
Without this document, no refund or return can be processed.

5. Dispute Prevention

To avoid any delivery issues, it is strongly recommended that the customer:

Prefer delivery to a pickup point if available.

Opt for a delivery method with signature when offered.

By validating their order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these conditions.
